Health Insurance BC (HIBC) is the administrative operations of the Medical Services Plan. MSP provides coverage for medically required services of physicians and surgeons and for dental or oral surgery when medically required to be performed in a hospital. Resident employees working 30+ hours a week are eligible immediately upon request; non-resident employees working 30+ hours a week are eligible following a 90-day waiting period. Provincial replacement coverage maybe available.
